Important Distinction: Zeviodesk Users vs. Customer Information

Zeviodesk Users: The repair shop or business entity and its authorized staff members who hold a Zeviodesk subscription and use the platform to conduct business operations.

Customer Information Entered by Zeviodesk Users: Repair businesses enter personal information about their own customers into Zeviodesk in order to manage repair jobs, tickets, invoices, communications, warranties, and related shop operations.

Zeviodesk does not have a direct customer relationship with every end-consumer whose information is entered into the platform by a repair business. In respect of customer information entered by repair businesses, Zeviodesk operates primarily as a data processor providing software services on behalf of the business user.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account and Business Information

Depending on account registration and onboarding flows, Zeviodesk processes the following business and account data:

Landing Page Form Clarification: Submitting contact details or interest on the Zeviodesk landing page trial form redirects to onboarding or records an inquiry. It does not automatically provision a live production database account until backend verification and setup are completed.

4. Customer Information

Repair businesses use Zeviodesk to manage records of their customers. Depending on what the business enters, customer data may include:

  • Customer full name
  • Customer phone number
  • Customer email address
  • Physical street address or contact notes
  • Customer account history & repair records
  • Ticket history and status logs
  • Communication history (including WhatsApp messages)
  • Payment, invoice, and balance records
  • Warranty records
  • Voluntary customer notes entered by staff

Note: Zeviodesk does not collect this information directly from end-consumers. Customer records are entered into the platform by the repair business using Zeviodesk.

5. Device and Repair Information

Because Zeviodesk is a specialized repair-management platform, business users store hardware and repair diagnostic data, including:

Zeviodesk does not independently extract device identifiers from physical hardware unless users enter them into ticket forms.

6. Invoices, Payments and Financial Information

Zeviodesk processes business financial data required to generate invoices and manage repair shop billing:

  • Invoices, invoice numbers, line items, pricing, tax calculations, and discounts.
  • Payment status (e.g. unpaid, paid, partially paid, refunded).
  • Payment method categories entered by users (e.g. Cash, Card, Bank Transfer).
  • Transaction reference identifiers where recorded.
  • Zeviodesk SaaS subscription billing details.

Payment Security Guarantee

Zeviodesk does NOT store complete credit card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, or bank passwords. Production payment transactions are processed through authorized third-party payment processing providers according to their respective privacy standards.

7. Inventory and Product Information

Businesses manage inventory and parts catalogs in Zeviodesk. This data includes:

Products, replacement screens, batteries, chips, catalog descriptions, product images, stock counts, inventory movements, cost/retail pricing, SKUs, and supplier references. This information is classified as business operational data.

8. Files and Attachments

Zeviodesk supports uploading media and documents associated with repair records:

  • Device intake photos, damaged component photos, and repair bench completion photos.
  • Product images and part documentation.
  • Customer waiver documents, diagnostic PDF reports, and invoices.
Storage InfrastructureUploaded files and attachments are stored and delivered using third-party cloud infrastructure utilized by Zeviodesk, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS S3 and AWS CloudFront content delivery network) where applicable.

9. WhatsApp and Meta Integration

WhatsApp Business Platform Integration

Zeviodesk integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform / Meta services to provide supported business messaging capabilities directly within repair shop workspaces.

Depending on configuration, Zeviodesk may process:

WhatsApp integration requires authorized Meta/WhatsApp account configuration and approval. Zeviodesk only accesses data necessary to operate the connected messaging integration and does not request or process unrelated Facebook or Meta account data.

WhatsApp-related data processed by Zeviodesk is used to:

  • Display active customer chat conversations inside the Zeviodesk shop dashboard.
  • Allow authorized repair-shop staff to communicate with customers regarding repair tickets.
  • Send supported repair-status notifications (e.g. ticket creation, repair complete, pickup reminder).
  • Associate chat history with customer profiles and repair ticket records.
  • Maintain an audit trail of customer communication history for shop records.
  • Process incoming Meta webhook events for real-time status updates.
  • Troubleshoot integration performance and maintain connection security.

Automated message delivery is subject to Meta platform rules, approved message template guidelines, shop account configuration, and WhatsApp Business policies.

11. Meta Platform Data Disclosures

Meta Platform Data Protection Commitments

  • Zeviodesk processes data received through authorized Meta/WhatsApp integrations exclusively for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
  • Zeviodesk DOES NOT sell Meta platform data.
  • Zeviodesk does not use Meta platform data for behavioral targeting, advertising profiling, or cross-service data monetization.
  • Access to Meta platform data is restricted solely to functionality required to provide connected services to authorized users.

Zeviodesk's data processing is distinct from Meta Platforms, Inc.'s independent data processing. Users may review Meta's Privacy Policy directly on Meta's official website.

12. Public Ticket Tracking

Zeviodesk provides a public ticket-tracking experience allowing customers to view repair status updates via a unique public link provided by the repair shop:

  • Repair businesses may provide customers with a direct tracking link for their repair job.
  • Information displayed on the public tracking page (e.g. repair status, device model, estimated cost) is determined by shop configuration and business input.
  • Repair shops should avoid exposing unnecessary sensitive personal information in public ticket notes.
  • Zeviodesk processes IP address and request metadata necessary to serve public tracking pages securely.
Clarification: Public ticket tracking is a view-only tracking link and is NOT a traditional password-authenticated consumer portal.

13. Staff and Role-Based Access

Zeviodesk supports business user roles and permission-based authorization:

  • Authorized roles may include Business Administrators, Shop Managers, Technicians, and Front-Desk Staff.
  • Businesses using Zeviodesk are responsible for:
    • Providing account access only to authorized personnel.
    • Maintaining strong account credentials and passwords.

    • Ensuring staff use the platform in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

14. Subscriptions

Zeviodesk offers subscription plans for repair businesses (such as Free, Pro, and Business tiers).

Zeviodesk processes subscription details including selected plan, plan status, billing contact email, payment status, transaction references, and tenant account IDs. Payment processing is managed by authorized payment gateways.

Browser-local storage resides on your device and is separate from Zeviodesk's central server database. Sensitive personal information is not stored unencrypted in browser local storage.

If you have connected a WhatsApp Business Account or Meta service to Zeviodesk and wish to remove or delete integration tokens, message history, or webhook logs associated with your Meta account, you may request deletion by contacting:
